• The Dr. Margaret Wade-Lewis Black History Cultural Center is teaming up with Seniors Serving in Place for a special Kwanzaa celebration on Dec. 30 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the New Paltz Community Center at 3 Veterans Drive. Visit MWLCenter.org for more information.

• The Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main St., Rosendale, will screen the 2017 film “Kong: Skull Island” at 3 p.m on Dec. 30. A team of scientists, explorers and soldiers arrive on an uncharted island dominated by prehistoric animal life where Kong is King. • Lifespring: Saugerties Adult Learning Community’s Winter 2023 programming, includes presentations on Wednesdays, Jan. 4 and March 1, as well as a mini-course series on Feb. 1 and 8. All programs are free and will be held online via Zoom with prior registration required.
